Weekly Photo Challenge: Delicate

Living in an urban jungle where the natural beauty of nature is scarce, it has become a practice for me to frequent parks and wildlife sanctuaries to get close to nature, where I can fill my lungs with fresh air, and feast my eyes on cheerful little birds flying above my head.

One of my favorite parks to visit is the Montreal Botanical Garden where I am allowed the opportunity to photograph flowers and plants even during a nasty winter storm, thanks to the greenhouses which are usually open all year round.

Today’s post is my entry to the Weekly Photo Challenge where the current theme is “Delicate”. Head on over to the Daily Post for more of these entries, or to participate to the challenge.

  1. Breathtakingly wonderful. Stunning images that reminds us the beauty in things and our surroundings. Merry christmas and best wishes to you and your family.

  2. The begonia is a gorgeous plant, one of my favourites, if truth be known. I also like your cactus pic as the bokehed background kinda gives them a delicate look. Well seen!

  3. Love the golden barrel cactus, you’ve photographed it well. I enjoyed shooting in the botanical gardens in Washington, DC.

  4. Thank you so much for flowers,so beautiful.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
