I like that you photographed Maman later in the day. You achieve a totally different effect than the usual one. Good stuff!
Thanks Sherry! Glad you liked it

Love the first one.
Wonderful capture of her work! I was fortunate enough to see her exhibition at Guggenheim in NY, in 2008, and I remained mesmerized with her work….great photos btw
Thanks Roxi
These are great photos. That spider is amazing.
Thank you, Katie!
Great POV and a little humor, too. That doesn’t hurt any photo.
Thank you, Ken
By photographing the spider at dusk, you’ve made it all the more spooky. I’d hate to encounter a real spider of that size. Maman she may be, but not to me, and she wouldn’t be likely to treat me in a motherly way.

I waited until after sunset to take the shot, i thought it would be more interesting to see the spider statue (“Maman”) when it’s dark, besides, there were less tourists to compete with (and less distraction of course).
And you’re right, it does look spooky, doesn’t it?
Pretty cool !!
Thanks!
i love the first shot!!!! (a lot)
Thanks. This sculpture is called “Maman”.
what’s the meaning behind?
This is AMAZING! It’s like a huge spider!
Thanks
